## Overview

From the Allegheny Plateau to the Piedmont, Pennsylvania supports common, swamp, butterfly and poke milkweed, with purple milkweed clinging on in scattered woodland-edge sites. Powerline rights of way managed as meadow are among the state’s best monarch habitat.
